My name is Karyn Dubravetz. I speak Russian. How did I learn Russian?
Well, over the past 15 years, I:
- Took 4 years of Russian at Tallmadge High School,
- Earned a B.S. in Russian Translation from Kent State University,
- Survived a semester abroad in Volgograd, Russia,
- Completed a summer of immersion at Middlebury College.
After all that, I’d like to say that I now speak Russian perfectly. But if I said that, I’d be lying. So I do whatever I can to improve as much as possible. I started this blog to share my adventures in Russian language learning with you. I hope you enjoy it!
